TerraCarta goes to America!

TerraCarta and Shell are working together on ‘UGI’. This is an Underground Ground Imaging Tool that makes the mapping of the subsurface, using detection, a lot easier and more transparent. With the help of AI (artificial intelligence), a large part of the currently specialistic and complex proceedings will be simplified or removed.

Collaboration with Shell

This collaboration with the technical team of Shell is bringing us to very special places in a short amount of time. Our first collaboration is bringing us to California, where we travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco, to administer various measurement techniques spread over a number of fuel stations.

Extraordinary experiences but also a special learning curve, simple matters can be totally different on another continent than we are used to, causing us to think in new directions of solutions. In addition, working together with all the people from Shell is bringing us a lot of fresh and new ideas. Never thought that this would add so much to our knowledge package!

TerraCarta en Shell werken samen aan ‘UGI’. Dit is een Underground Ground Imaging Tool waarmee het in kaart brengen van de ondergrond met behulp van detectiemiddelen een stuk eenvoudiger en transparanter wordt. Met behulp van AI (artificial intelligence) zal een groot deel van nu nog specialistische en complexe handelingen worden vereenvoudigd of weggenomen.

Samenwerking Shell

Die samenwerking met het technisch team van Shell brengt ons in korte tijd naar heel bijzondere plekken. Onze eerste samenwerking brengt ons naar Californië waar we van Los Angeles tot San Francisco diverse meetprincipes toepassen verspreid over een aantal pompstations.

Bijzondere ervaringen maar ook een bijzondere leercurve, eenvoudige zaken kunnen op een ander continent totaal anders zijn dan dat je gewend bent, waardoor je weer nieuwe oplossingsrichtingen bedenkt. Daarnaast brengt het samenwerken met de mensen van Shell een hoop frisse & nieuwe ideeën. Nooit gedacht dat dit zoveel zou toevoegen aan ons kennispakket!
