roadmap for

Utility survey

TerraCarta offers custom solutions for various branches of construction, including:

Detection of

cables and pipes

Cables and pipelines frequently deviate from the position they are in on drawings. To prevent damage and avoid delays during projects, it is very important to accurately locate this underground infrastructure. TerraCarta uses modern techniques such as ground penetrating radar and radio detection, which allow us to draw a detailed picture of the subsurface, even down to a depth of 10 to 20 meters. Our detection methods ensure that excavation and construction projects can be carried out without unexpected obstacles.

Design phase and the

CROW-500 guidelines

In the design phase of any construction or excavation project, it is essential to accurately map the location of cables and pipes. The CROW 500 guideline emphasizes that cables and pipes must be physically located before the design can be finalized. By using our detection methods at this stage, you avoid running into problems later, such as unforeseen obstacles that delay the project and cause additional costs. TerraCarta provides reliable data you can rely on during the design process. With TerraCarta’s data, a design becomes a manufacturable design.

Implementation phase: prevent excavation damage

with KLIC registration

Before excavation work starts, it is a legal requirement to make a KLIC (The Netherlands’ Centre for Utility Information) registrations, as stipulated in the WIBON Act. This notification provides information about the cables and pipes present at the site, but this data must always be verified. TerraCarta offers support in verifying this KLIC data and helps you report discrepancies to the Land Registry, as required by the WIBON. This not only prevents excavation damage, but also unnecessary delays and safety risks.
