BRL SIKB 2000
Addressing soil contamination involves several activities, one of which is fieldwork. It is important that fieldwork is carried out correctly, which is why guidelines have been established. These guidelines for fieldwork in environmental soil research are elaborated in BRL SIKB 2000. These guidelines set strict requirements for the process of soil research to ensure the quality and reliability of the results.
TerraCarta Milieu B.V. meets the conditions for the application areas:
- Protocol 2001: Placing hand drillings and monitoring wells, making drill descriptions and taking soil samples
- Protocol 2002: Taking groundwater samples.

VCA **
The VCA** certificate is intended for companies with operational employees who work in high-risk environments and who have more than one operational manager. The VCA** certificate ensures that TerraCarta employees:
- Recognize and reduce safety risks.
- Be less likely to have accidents.
- Work according to structured safety procedures.
All our operational (field) employees hold a VCA diploma at least at the basic level. All our operational managers hold a VCA-VOL diploma.

CO₂-Performanceladder step 5
With Step 5 on the CO₂-Performanceladder, TerraCarta shows its commitment to sustainability and CO₂ reduction and actively contributes to achieving climate goals. The EU and the Netherlands are imposing increasingly stringent requirements on CO₂ emissions TerraCarta demonstrates at Step 5 that we are actively making our operations more sustainable, saving on fuel, electricity and raw materials.

Safety Culture Ladder (SCL) step 3
With SCL Step 3 (Safety Culture Ladder, formerly the Safety Ladder), TerraCarta demonstrates that safety is truly embedded in its corporate culture. The Safety Culture Ladder measures how aware and proactive a company is about safety:
Safety is integrated into company policy.
