Cable and pipe research
Using various detection techniques, we map cables and pipes in the railroad environment. We do this manually, or with our own rail/road vehicles
Trail trenches
For trial trenching, you have come to the right place. We have VSKs (Voorman Spoorse Kabels) at our disposal and can completely relieve you of any concerns regarding trial trenching.
Obstacle research
For our clients we map obstacles in the project area, these obstacles can be an obstacle to the implementation of the project. The obstacles can be located in, around and under the track. We also measure the ABC dimensions of overhead line masts.
Geotechnical structure of the railroad track
For ProRail, we map the geotechnical structure of the railroad track at an early stage through ground radar surveys.
Environmental research
TerraCarta has its own environmental consulting firm: TerraCarta Environment. Among other things, we conduct the following studies:
- Ballast testing (civil engineering and environmental quality)

Design and revision
Within TerraCarta Engineering, we can help you with the following work:
- Preparation of designs (VO, DO and UO) for all underground infrastructure in accordance with ProRail regulations (KS, WV, WB and RD).
- Revising surveying data according to ProRail regulations (Red Revision and As-built)
- All other common drawing work (Autocad and Microstation)
